The core of the RFIDsec tag is a state-of-the-art patent-pending security technology, to which RFIDsec owns exclusive commercial rights.

In effect RFIDsec can demonstrate RFID solutions to core industry needs related to efficiency, flexibility, anti-counterfeit and patient safety as well as eliminating the major market barriers related to consumer privacy and lack of RFID security.

In addition to secure RFID tags, RFIDsec is offering Access Management Services. The combination is a value adding plug and play service for all manufacturers using RFID tags on their products.

The RFIDsec tags can act as a standard RFID tag all the way through the Supply Chain if required. At all times the unique RFIDsec features are availiable. The RFIDsec tag is operated through standard RFID readers.

Unique features;

  1. Strong cryptographic solution on the tag itself
  2. Using 128 bit encryption keys and a well known and proven hashing algorithm
  3. Dynamic encryption on the tag, ensuring dynamic answers and hence eliminating the risk of cloned tags
  4. One step authentication, ensuring authentication of the reader before the tag answers, preventing unauthorized requests and eliminating the risk of unwanted surveillance or tracing
  5. Advanced access management control, ensuring that all users have access to the relevant information in regard to their specific need for information. Granting dynamic right to both read and write for different data areas on the RFID tag
  6. The owner of the tag will have full control of the tag, deciding who should have which kind of access to the tag – and it is even possible to grant time or query round specific access.
  7. The RFIDsec tags can operate in Silent Mode, where only authorized requests will make the tag answer. For all others readers/interrogators the tag will appear as if it was not even there – stay completely silent.
