Access Management Software Platform
Security in a RFID solution must start at the RFID tag.
The RFIDsec Secure RFID Chip is the world’s first implementation of RFIDsec’s Secure Protocol (RSP).
The access to the Secure RFID Chip is managed with the use of RFIDsec’s Access Management Software Platform. The RFIDsec Access Management Software is also managing the security features of the Secure RFID Chip.
Technical Features.
- Through the API an application can use the Access Management Software Platform to access the Secure RFID Chip and Tag
- Access Management Software Platform can establish secure communication with the Secure RFID Chip across an unauthorised RFID Reader achieving VPN like tunnelling
- One step authentication, ensuring authentication of the reader before the tag answers, preventing unauthorized requests and eliminating the risk of unwanted surveillance or tracing
- Advanced access management control, ensuring that all users have access to the relevant information in regard to their specific need for information. Granting dynamic right to both read and write for different data areas on the RFID tag
- The owner of the tag will have full control of the tag, deciding who should have which kind of access to the tag
- The RFIDsec tags can operate in Silent Mode, where only authorized requests will make the tag answer. For all others readers/interrogators the tag will appear as if it was not even there – stays completely silent.
